This express itinerary is perfect if you're short on time and want to see China's main highlights.

Any China holiday should include a visit to Beijing - and so does this trip. The morning after your arrival, China Travel Plan will arrange for you to be taken on a morning drive with an English speaking guide to Beijing highlights such as the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. The following day we’ll arrange for you to visit the Great Wall of Chinafor a 10km walk over the wall and through the surrounding mountains. 

Next, you'll continue on to the walled city of Xi'an to see the famous Terracotta Army. Finally you'll head to the bustling city of Shanghai; no other city in the world features starker contrasts between east and west and rich and poor. Just beyond the broad modern avenues, small streets seem to create paths to past centuries.
